Nexus Malls in the hue of a new identity – Prestige Group

Nexus Malls is the largest retail platform in India, catering the diversified tastes and cultures of its customers. Since its inception in 2016, the company has housed almost 10 million square feet of Grade A shopping centres in the country. Until now the company has been operational in 13 major cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune and many more.  As the company embarks on a journey further, it’s adoption of a brand new identity sparks a tinge of refreshment and dynamism.

CEO of Nexus Malls, Dalip Sehgal revealed, “The new identity brings to life our promise of ‘Har Din Kuch Naya’, a promise where we bring something new, unique and personal every day to our 130 million consumers”. The rebranding marks the beginning of a new era of recovery from the lashes of the pandemic. In the prior few years the Blackstone backed company suffered severe losses. However, with a recovery of 130% sales and more than 100% footfall at portfolio level the company finally sees hope.

“We are thrilled with the kind of confidence reposed by our patrons resulting in continuous recovery and sustained growth”, Sehgal adds. The rebranding aims to solidify the bond between employees, retailers and shoppers of the brand. Over the next few months, Nexus Malls will be organising various events around the country to launch their renewed branding. Nexus Malls is backed by the world’s leading investment firm, The Blackstone Group.

The company began rebranding its retail properties in May 2022 in southern India. India’s largest retail platform came into existence after a massive acquisition in 2021. Eight shopping centres by the Prestige Group was then undertaken in its wing. In present times the company holds assets worth $ 2.5 billion to $ 3 billion. From aiming to change the shopping experience for the Indian masses, the company has reached desired heights owing to its commitment and consistency. The company has 17 malls setup in different parts of the country. Prestige City Sarjapur is a new property in Bangalore, consisting of villas, plots and apartment.

According to the CEO, Dalip Sehgal, the company’s rebranding has been an essential move for cross-functional synergies. This will definitely help investors and brands altogether to develop and flourish, keeping in mind the customers’ needs. Nexus Malls has an exceptional portfolio of approximately 10 million square feet of Grade A retail space in India. Some of its spectacular retail spaces include the Forum Vijaya Mall in Chennai, Forum Neighbourhood Mall (at Whitefield) and Forum Kormangala Mall in Bangalore, Forum Sujana Mall in Hyderabad, Pavillion Mall and Westend Mall in Pune, Seawoods Grand Central Mall in Mumbai and many more.

As Nexus Malls keeps its foot into a new era of “Har Din Kuch Naya”, it brings forth a renewed positivity and hope for the retail market in India. The rebranding of the company comes as a welcome news in this phase of recovery and rediscovery. The company is surely to surge in greater heights in the upcoming days, paving a brighter future for the Indian retail market.
